All persons planning to attend Aviation Week’s MRO Event (the “Event”) must be registered with Aviation Week (“Show Management”), a division of Penton Media, Inc. (“Penton”). The Event is a private trade show open to the trade only, and not open to the public. Individuals who cannot document their direct, professional affiliation to the trade are not qualified to attend the Event.
Anyone 16 years and older must qualify to register as an attendee or exhibitor and will be required to show business proof. Children younger than 16 years are not eligible to attend the Event. No one under 18 years of age will be allowed on the Event floor during move-in and move-out.
Company promotion, samples and literature distribution by exhibitors must be done within their contracted exhibit spaces, with the exception of designated sponsorships and marketing opportunities. Unless a marketing opportunity (e.g., sponsorship, showcase, exhibitor-presented seminar) has been contracted by the exhibitor, all company promotion and product sampling must occur within the contracted booth space. This includes, but is not limited to “roaming” characters, handing out flyers, approaching delegates to download their information (lead retrieval), approaching exhibitor booths to sell products, leaving and/or distributing product information in public spaces and Event floor aisles, all of which are prohibited. Exhibitors found doing so will be sent back to their booth space and materials left will be recycled. Attendees will be asked to leave the Event and forfeit their badges. Any “suitcasers” should be reported to the Event Office.
Any meetings and/or events (e.g., hospitality suites) that are not taking place on the Event floor should be held during nonEvent hours and should be registered with Show Management. Events and meetings must be registered and approved by using the Exhibitor Hosted Events Form. Exhibitors have the option to publish their meetings or events on the MRO Event website or indicate on the form it is a private event. If it is indicated as a private event, it will not be published on the website.
Animals are not allowed at the Event. The only exception is for service animals, which must be kept under control at all times. Please contact Customer Service with questions.
Smoking is strictly prohibited in all areas inside the Event facility. Smoking is permitted solely in designated smoking areas outside the buildings.
